Religious Ring Exchange Prelude # 1

 

The Groom places the ring on the Bride’s finger and says: Bride, I give you this ring as a symbol of my vow, and with all that I am, and all that I have, I honor you, in the name of God. The Bride places the ring on the Groom’s finger and says: Groom, I give you this ring as a symbol of my vow, and with all that I am, and all that I have, I honor you, in the name of God.

 

Religious Ring Exchange Prelude # 2

 

Groom, please repeat after me: In token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love, with this ring I thee wed, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. (places ring on her finger) Bride, please repeat after me: In token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love, with this ring I thee wed, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. (places ring on his finger)

 

Religious Ring Exchange Prelude # 3

 

Groom: I Groom, choose you Bride to be my wife, to love and cherish, from this day forward, and thereto pledge you my faith. And with this ring, I thee wed, Let it ever be to us a symbol of our love. Bride: I Bride, choose you Groom, to be my husband, to love and to cherish, from this day forward, and thereto pledge you my faith. With this ring, I thee wed. Let it ever be to us a symbol of our love. Minister: Let no man or woman tear asunder what fate, God, and Love hath joined this day.

 

Religious Ring Exchange Prelude # 4

 

Groom to Bride: Bride, I give you this ring as a pledge of the sincerity of my vows. (Groom places ring on bride's finger.) Minister to Bride: What token do you give of the vows you have made? Bride -- This ring. Minister -- Bless this ring, O Lord, that she who gives it and he who wears it may abide in your peace, and continue in your favor, until their life's end, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Bride to Groom – Groom, I give you this ring as a pledge of the sincerity of my vows. (Bride places ring on groom's finger.) Minister -- You, Groom and Bride have pledged your devotion to each other. It is not these words that have made your marriage real, but the God of love, who has welded your hearts together as one. He has said, "For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall be joined unto his wife and the two shall become one flesh.”

 

Religious Ring Exchange Prelude # 5

 

Minister to Groom -- What pledge do you give of the sincerity of your vows? Groom -- A ring. Minister to Bride -- Do you accept this ring as a pledge of the sincerity of Groom's vows? Bride -- I do. Groom – With this ring I thee wed and all my worldly goods I thee endow. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. Minister -- And may this circlet of pure gold which has no end, be henceforth the chaste and changeless symbol of your evermore pure and changeless affection. Minister to Bride -- What pledge do you give of the sincerity of your vows? Bride -- A ring. Minister to Groom -- Groom, do you accept this ring as a pledge of the sincerity of Bride's vows? Groom -- I do. Bride – This ring I give you in token and pledge of my constant faithfulness and abiding love. Minister -- And may this ring given, be the outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual bond which unites your two hearts in love that has no end.

 

Religious Ring Exchange Prelude # 6

 

This ring is a circle symbolizing the never-ending love that you have pledged to (Man), would you place the ring at the time on the third finger of his left hand and repeat after me? As a pledge and in token of the vows we have made, with this ring I thee wed. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Groom: With this Ring I thee wed, (here placing it upon her thumb) and with my body I thee honor, (here placing it upon her index finger) and with all my worldly goods I thee endow; (here placing it upon her ring finger) In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Bride: With this Ring I thee wed, (here placing it upon his thumb) and with my body I thee honor, (here placing it upon his index finger) and with all my worldly goods I thee endow; (here placing it upon his ring finger) In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
